espeakup will run along side orca, but it has nothing to do with it.Hi

Espeakup just allows speakup to use espeak as its synthesizer.  So, if
you enter graphics mode, orca will take over and speakup goes to sleep,
so espeakup will not speak.

gnome-speech has an espeak use flag, but you don't need to set it, since
it is the default.
