Awesome news, William. Absolutely awesome. With permission, I'd like to
forward this to more general linux accessibility lists as well.

Hi all,

here is where we are as of now on getting our cds accessible.

I have been able to produce an x86 minimal cd that supports hardware speech
using speakup and its hardware synthesizers.

Software speech is not working yet, but I am working on that as we speak,
and I will let you know how that goes.

Once I get it set up correctly, I will be submitting the patches back to
release engineering and they will be including them in the official gentoo
live and minimal cds.
