Hi Deedra,

No, that didn't work. Nothing happens now either. I noted that the computer 
couldn't be rebooted using Ctrl+Alt+Del after entering the CD, but this is 
perhaps because of the boot loader and not because any Linux kernel is 
running. Actually the CD never seems to stop spinning, but it's spinning at 
a low rate.
