Hello,
Using a MAKEOPTS of -j1 i was able to install gnome on my gentoo box.
I can log in and start orca with alt+f2. My problem is i have no
sound. I can determine that the orca window appears, but no audio
output. I do have sound at the console, as the normal user, who i'm
logging in as i can play audio files and the like and my mixer
settings are saved at each shutdown. Any ideas as to why going in to
gnome produces no sound?
