Hi, |
2 |
I'm having a slight issue with the emerge of mod_php-4.4.0-r9. I have in |
3 |
the past had this installed but now it's failing. During the configure |
4 |
stage, the compiler is detected as a cross compiler, although it isnt. I |
5 |
am compiling for my platform, which is alpha-unknown-linux-gnu. |
6 |
|
7 |
During the emerge I see.. |
8 |
|
9 |
checking whether the C compiler (gcc -O3 -mieee -pipe |
10 |
-fomit-frame-pointer -DLINUX=2 -D_REENTRANT -D_XOPEN_SOURCE=500 |
11 |
-D_BSD_SOURCE -D_SVID_SOURCE -D_GNU_SOURCE -pthread -L/usr/X11R6/lib |
12 |
-ltiff -L/usr/lib) is a cross-compiler... yes |
13 |
|
14 |
and then.. |
15 |
|
16 |
configure: error: can not run test program while cross compiling |
17 |
|
18 |
!!! Please attach the config.log to your bug report: |
19 |
!!! /var/tmp/portage/mod_php-4.4.0-r9/work/php-4.4.0/config.log |
20 |
|
21 |
I thought this may of been due to my USE flags which are normally |
22 |
|
23 |
CFLAGS="-O3 -mcpu=ev6 -mtune=ev6 -mieee -mno-soft-float -mfp-regs -pipe |
24 |
-fomit- |
25 |
frame-pointer" |
26 |
|
27 |
I then tried |
28 |
|
29 |
CFLAGS="-O3 -mieee -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer" |
30 |
|
31 |
But still the same error. Any ideas why configure thinks my gcc 3.3.2 is |
32 |
cross compiling? |
33 |
|
34 |
TIA. |
35 |
Marc Tipping. |
