I've had hit and miss luck with various packages using the Compaq Tools.

Some packages emerge fine others don't.

Most of Gnome and KDE won't compile with the Compaq compilers.

I've had success with:
mozilla, openldap, samba, sendmail, ssh, apache, and openssl
