Hi. |
2 |
|
3 |
I tried to install Gentoo prefix on Centos 5.9. The installation runs fine |
4 |
for a long time, but then ends with: |
5 |
|
6 |
>>> Installing (19 of 19) dev-python/python-exec-10000.1 |

* Messages for package sys-apps/portage-2.2.8: |
15 |
|
16 |
* This package will overwrite one or more files that may belong to other |
17 |
* packages (see list below). You can use a command such as `portageq |
18 |
* owners / <filename>` to identify the installed package that owns a |
19 |
* file. If portageq reports that only one package owns a file then do |
20 |
* NOT file a bug report. A bug report is only useful if it identifies at |
21 |
* least two or more packages that are known to install the same file(s). |
22 |
* If a collision occurs and you can not explain where the file came from |
23 |
* then you should simply ignore the collision since there is not enough |
24 |
* information to determine if a real problem exists. Please do NOT file |
25 |
* a bug report at http://bugs.gentoo.org unless you report exactly which |
26 |
* two packages install the same file(s). See |
27 |
* http://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Knowledge_Base:Blockers for tips on how to |
28 |
* solve the problem. And once again, please do NOT file a bug report |
29 |
* unless you have completely understood the above message. |

Hmmmm, I was already afraid of this to happen. Running |
68 |
/home/abr/gentoo/bin/bash ./bootstrap-prefix.sh "/home/abr/gentoo" stage3 |
69 |
somewhere failed :( Details might be found in the build log: |
70 |
(no build logs found?!?) |
71 |
I have no clue, really. Please find friendly folks in #gentoo-prefix on |
72 |
irc.gentoo.org, gentoo-alt@l.g.o mailing list, or file a bug |
73 |
at bugs.gentoo.org under Gentoo/Alt, Prefix Support. This is most |
74 |
inconvenient, and it crushed my ego. Sorry, I give up. |
75 |
|
76 |
|
77 |
Any hint on what I can do to get rid of this problem? |
78 |
|
79 |
Regards |
