Dear gentoo-prefix experts, |
2 |
|
3 |
after a long time, I found I needed to put a gentoo prefix again |
4 |
on my account on a somewhat ancient Redhat server --- |
5 |
and it failed, with the tail of its output below. |
6 |
|
7 |
Is there a way of calling |
8 |
|
9 |
emerge -av1 app-arch/zstd |
10 |
|
11 |
in this half-finished build, and let it resume? |
12 |
|
13 |
Or some other plausible fix to inject app-arch/zstd into the list of things it builds? |
14 |
|
15 |
|
16 |
On the Manual_Bootstrap page, I found: |
17 |
|
18 |
| Creating a start-script |
19 |
| |
20 |
| $ cd $EPREFIX/usr/portage/scripts |
21 |
| $ ./bootstrap-prefix.sh $EPREFIX startscript |
22 |
|
23 |
But $EPREFIX/usr/portage/scripts does not exist yet... |
24 |
|
25 |
|
26 |
|
27 |
I attach stage2.log.xz. |
28 |
|
29 |
|
30 |
Thanks! |

57 |
(no build logs found?!?) |
58 |
I have no clue, really. Please find friendly folks in #gentoo-prefix on |
59 |
irc.gentoo.org, gentoo-alt@l.g.o mailing list, or file a bug |
60 |
at bugs.gentoo.org under Gentoo/Alt, Prefix Support. |

Remember you might find some clues in /nfs/u30/kahl/gentoo/stage2.log |
