Right you are. Personally I'm not happy at all with this. You could |

consider yourself to be a too early adoptor. Anyway, I think this is |

haubi's "dynamic libraries" stuff and a Portage version that is not |

expecting that (.a files being "dynamic" instead of static). We really |
| 15 |
need haubi here so I can properly adapt Portage for that in the correct |
| 16 |
way, assuming I'm not mistaken at this point. |

That said, I'm sorry that you have to hit so many problems. The AIX |

to just continue, you could try to apply the attached patch to |
