GMANE provides an alternative service for most mailing lists. c.f. bug 424647
Just a heads up for all of you:
Starting from Portage 2.2.00.13103 (2.2.00.13133 is the first one in the
tree) eprefixify is no longer a function provided by Portage. Instead
this function is now provided by the 'prefix' eclass.
For every ebuild where you want/need to use eprefixify, you have to
'inherit prefix' from now on.
