6 Good question. Maybe Johan's patch fixes it.

8 Sorry for the mess, by the way. reemerging less is indeed the way to
9 go. Reason why I did this, is because I consider this project to be
10 still in beta state, so now this kind of issues can still be fixed (and
11 breaking systems, sorry!) which is impossible afterwards.

13 Thanks for looking after the reason, it is because ncurses' library
14 location changed. There is still a problem with ncurses with regard to
15 the library location, and I think the only acceptable way out is by
16 patching the makefiles such that the two libraries that Gentoo wants in
17 lib are installed in lib, and the rest in usr/lib. Not sure how "easy"
18 that is, though.
