1 xorg-server-1.0.* is compatible with up to the latest version of
2 ati-drivers - I have yet to reboot into 2.6.17 but have heard of no
3 issues with kernel.
4 If you are running ~amd64 you will need to to either match Duncan's
5 open-source piety or mask a few xorg things as there has been an ABI
6 change in xorg-server which has not been picked up in ati-drivers yet.
7 My /etc/portage/package.mask includes the following lines ATM:
