OK, here's what those lines are supposed to look like (one grabbed at random on the fly): ================ /usr/bin/bdftopcf -t ncenI12-ISO8859-4.bdf | gzip > ncenI12-ISO8859-4.pcf.gz ================ And, /usr/bin/bdftopcf comes from 'emerge bdftopcf' So, first, please check to see if you have bdftopcf (e.g., ls -l /usr/bin/bdftopcf) Because you don't. If I bzip2 /usr/bin/bdftopcf and then try to build the package, I get this: ============== t ncenI18.bdf | gzip > ncenI18.pcf.gz /bin/sh: t: command not found ============= (grabbed at random on the fly) Just like you are. So, your system thinks bdftopcf is installed, but it isn't. (the bdftopcf package is a DEPEND for font-adobe-75dpi, but for some reason, the configure script does not find /usr/bin/bdftopcf, and is not smart enough to tell you that, it seems.) Please emerge bdftopcf and try again.
>> configure: creating ./config.status >> config.status: creating Makefile >> t courB10.bdf | gzip > courB10.pcf.gz t courB12.bdf | gzip > courB12.pcf.gz >> t courB14.bdf | gzip > courB14.pcf.gz /bin/sh: t: command not found >> /bin/sh: t: command not found >> t symb08.bdf | gzip > symb08.pcf.gz t symb10.bdf | gzip > symb10.pcf.gz >> /bin/sh: t: command not found >> t symb12.bdf | gzip > symb12.pcf.gz /bin/sh: t: command not found >> t symb14.bdf | gzip > symb14.pcf.gz /bin/sh: t: command not found >> t symb18.bdf | gzip > symb18.pcf.gz /bin/sh: t: command not found >> t symb24.bdf | gzip > symb24.pcf.gz /bin/sh: t: command not found
Hope this helps, Regards, Ferris - -- Ferris McCormick (P44646, MI) <fmccor@g.o> Developer, Gentoo Linux (Devrel, Sparc) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2.2-ecc0.1.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFEOYv1Qa6M3+I///cRAnjSAJ9/ritgeZoabbl3+PLorVsD+Vm18QCeOCrK kJKBLkjLhyntgiin5xMusd8= =e1mU -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
