Try running xev (merging it if necessary) from a terminal window, and |

compare the event output when you roll the USB mouse wheel against that |

when you roll the bluetooth mouse wheel. You'll probably get different |
15 |
button events, and will need to map them to scroll wheel events |

accordingly, in xorg.conf. This can get a bit complex and isn't amd64 |

specific, so if you have problems figuring it all out, I'd suggest posting |

to the desktop list. The X experts, both Gentoo users and devs, can be |

found there and will likely be more familiar with the specifics. |
