Started with a Zaurus 5600, than a C750, now a Sharp Zarus C3000.

The newer Zaurus don't actually sync. Actually, they never really sync'd well to anythng but Outlook, which I never used. But they do fine with things like rsync and ssh/scp, so it's not been a big deal to me. But they treat the usb port as a network port rather than a serial connection. And fwiw - I also use the ifp driver to manage my iRiver IFP-999 portable ogg player via usb. No lockup from it. Bob -- gentoo-amd64@g.o mailing list
