[gentoo-amd64] Fwd: [gentoo-user] xorg-x11 and gnome

I'm still having the same error and cannot work out any way to fix it
without removing gnome - which I do not want to do if I can avoid it.
Can anyone suggest any remedies for this error or should I just give up and
remove gnome, then do the upgrade then try and re-emerge gnome?
Could it be that because I emerged a few ~amd64 packages (nvidia-kernel,
nvidia-glx, k9copy and a couple of others I cannot remember at the moment
and I don't currently have access to my Gentoo box) that this has caused
some library problems?
I'm just a bit stuck here and would love to get this sorted out as I don't
like having to use Windows when I should be using Gentoo!!!
