17 You'll find a majority of the 64-bit distros suffer from the same
18 problems. I run a large mix of 64-bit systems of various distros and
19 they all have problems with flash (32-bit only) and video players.
20 Personally, I've had much more success running gentoo on AMD64 than
21 other distros (although FC5 is pretty good out of the box), so I'm not
22 sure you'll be much happier with another 64-bit distro. However, 64-bit
23 /is/ the future and if we push some of the vendors (not open source, I'm
24 personally speaking of Adobe, ATI, etc) we'll get better linux support
25 for the 64-bit platform.
