9 It can be 2 things
10 Either /dev/vmmon is missing or you do not have permissions for it.
11 You have to add your user to the vmware group and login / logout to have
12 access to it.

15 mknod vmmon c 10 165

17 On my system I do a udevstart after all modules are loaded to be sure I'm
18 not missing any /dev files. Does anyone know if there is a better way ?
