I'm missing acpi-cpufreq in your module list. Is
CONFIG_X86_ACPI_CPUFREQ enabled? What CPU frequency governor is enabled
(`cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor`)?
By the way, 58°C is not particularly hot. Of course, it depends on where
it is measured. For measuring it, check that you have
CONFIG_SENSORS_CORETEMP enabled.
