Subject: Double Click on file in server does not open
Date: Tue, 12 May 2009 15:39:21 +0800
Hi,

Please bear with me as this is a Sabayon Linux question.

Installed Sabayon 4.1 Gnome. Connected to a Gentoo samba server. Can see
the files and copy the files to desktop. Unfortunately, when double
clicking the openoffice file, OpenOffice starts but then nothing
happens. When doing the same on jpeg file, Gimp starts then an error
messages appears stating the file is not there. The file is there.

The live CD of Sabayon 4.1 behaves the same.

Tried a 8.10 Ubuntu live cd and the double click works great. So the
Gentoo samba server is ok.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem.

P.V.Anthony
