8 As far as I understand, the rules are quite easy:

10 - Socket 940 -- Needs registered memory
11 - Socket 754 -- Can use unbuffered memory
12 - Socket 939 -- Can use unbuffered memory

14 And I believe that at least Socket 754 CPU:s actually *requires*
15 unbuffered memory, and can't use registered memory at all. I'm
16 not entirely sure about that, though, and I don't know if Socket
17 939 CPU:s can use registered memory.
