Hi all,
A new build-ix86-1.0_rc6-r17.iso has been released and is available at
http://www.ibiblio.org/gentoo/snapshots/build/
This new iso contains an updated kernel that doesn't exhibit IDE
"completion error" problems when used with old non-DMA drives or non-DMA
hardware. This bug was generally quite rare but hurt quite a bit when
it hit. Our new kernel no longer contains taskfile IO, solving this
problem.
