We haven't released any new Gentoo Linux Security AdvisorĂes (GLSA) since |
2 |
January, with information about security updates being available only directly |
3 |
through our Bugzilla [1]. Tomorrow, that changes. |
4 |
|
5 |
We're glad to announce that starting tomorrow, we will resume publishing |
6 |
advisories again directly via gentoo-announce, full-disclosure, bugtraq and |
7 |
our website. |
8 |
|
9 |
To round up the security issues that have been fixed in our distribution since |
10 |
January, we will be releasing a few grouped advisories containing these "old" |
11 |
issues. It is very likely that you have already fixed these issues with your |
12 |
regular system updates; if not, glsa-check(1) will point out the missing |
13 |
updates. |
14 |
|
15 |
We apologize for any incovenience this might have caused. We'd also like to |
16 |
use this occasion to invite members of the Gentoo community interested in |
17 |
helping with providing advisories to contact us. |
18 |
|
19 |
Feel free to contact security@g.o with any questions. |
20 |
Thanks! |
