Subject: More Moved Packages
Date: Fri, 28 Jun 2002 14:09:55 +0200
Hi all,

the ongoing effort of cleaning up the net-misc category resulted in the
move of the following packages.

  net-misc/arping        ->   net-analyzer
  net-misc/fping         ->   net-analyzer
  net-misc/hogwash       ->   net-analyzer
  net-misc/hping         ->   net-analyzer
  net-misc/mtr           ->   net-analyzer
  net-misc/netcat        ->   net-analyzer
  net-misc/nload         ->   net-analyzer
  net-misc/portsenty     ->   net-analyzer
  net-misc/snort         ->   net-analyzer
  net-misc/tcptraceroute ->   net-analyzer
  net-misc/traceroute    ->   net-analyzer
  net-misc/xtraceroute   ->   net-analyzer

To upgrade follow these easy steps:

  # emerge sync --clean

     to get the latest portage tree. The --clean option will ensure that
     stale ebuilds are being removed from your local tree.

   # emerge --pretend unmerge <your_app>

     Without the --pretend option, this will remove your app.

   # emerge --pretend <your_app>

      And this will remerge the correct version.

As all future releases of these applications will be made in the new
category this upgrade is recommended.
