I added the following to the stage2: |
2 |
|
3 |
livecd/splash_type: gensplash |
4 |
livecd/splash_theme: emergence |
5 |
boot/kernel/gentoo/packages: splashutils splash-themes-livecd |
6 |
splash-themes-gentoo |
7 |
|
8 |
When I ran my last stage2 build failed by saying "Error, cannot setup |
9 |
splash theme emergence". That theme is included in the |
10 |
splash-themes-gentoo package. The same thing happens if I try to use the |
11 |
livecd-2005.1 theme. Any ideas? |

|
39 |
Correct. If you put something into postconf, catalyst automatically |
40 |
moves it to packages. The reason for postconf was 100% due to gensplash |
41 |
and us still using initrd for 2.6 kernels with genkernel. Once we |
42 |
switched to using initramfs, postconf was no longer necessary. |
