Grab the gcc tarball there and stick it into /usr/portage/packages/All |

(you might need to create the directory) then do an emerge -K gcc. |

While Duncan's stage method will work, this is much simpler and is doe |

by the x86 architecture team. Don't file bugs against packages here, |

however, as they're "unofficial" only in the sense of being unsupported. |
