12 Grab the gcc tarball there and stick it into /usr/portage/packages/All
13 (you might need to create the directory) then do an emerge -K gcc.

15 While Duncan's stage method will work, this is much simpler and is doe
16 by the x86 architecture team. Don't file bugs against packages here,
17 however, as they're "unofficial" only in the sense of being unsupported.
