Every time I log in to my gnome desktop these days I get an error box saying: |

Details: GIF image was truncated or incomplete. |

There's no indication of _which_ icon could not be loaded. A search for more |

details in .xsession-errors and by looking for a gnome foot with a "?" on it in |
| 9 |
the various menus and panels turns up nothing. |

What component is most likely issuing this error, and how can I find out which |
| 12 |
icon it's having trouble with? |
| 13 |

It would be very helpful if error reports such as this one were a bit more |
| 15 |
explicit about the source of the error! |
