1 In gnome-2.8 you should check applications --> Desktop Preferences -->
2 Removable storage. Most of the options are pretty self explanitory, but
3 you'd probably be intersted in "Play audio CDs when inserted" and
4 "Perform action on blank CDs when inserted".
