1 Do you have 3D acceleration working? When I run glxgears, my system
2 will freeze up within five minutes, despite the driver (radeon vs.
3 ati-drivers): the score will run at 1600-1800 fps, then suddenly triple
4 or quadruple, at which point everything stops.

6 My crashes are complete, too, -- no pinging, no ssh, no accessing a VT
7 -- and so far only under KDE and gnome; I haven't tried this last test
8 while running fluxbox as I've had a lot of work to do lately.
