Ok, I've installed xine from source on other distros and even on
previous intalls of this system. But I have a couple of problems
related to xine and I'm hoping I could get some help here. The first,
not sure if this effects xine else where but when I run xine-check I
get this odd message :
head: `-1' option is obsolete; use `-n 1' since this will be removed
in the future
tail: cannot open `+2' for reading: No such file or directory
On top of that it also thinks I'm running a pre-2.2 kernel when in
truth I'm running the linux-2.6.7-ck5 from portage. I've reinstalled
xine both through emerge and out. Does anyoe know what might cause
these errors?
I have posted teh contents of xine-check to the bottom of the e-mail.
Thanks
