Today we're getting a new developer: Joining us from the capital of
Poland, Warsaw, we have Paweł "phajdan.jr" Hajdan. This is the guy who
brought us the precious ebuilds for Chromium, "a nice web browser" how
he liked to put it. He will primarily be working on this one -- both as
upstream and ebuild maintainer. Furthermore he also says he plans to
maintain logcheck, peazip, gimp-lpr-plugin and some admin tools.

Though he is still very young, he already knows a bunch of languages: He
can "program comfortably in Python, PHP, C, and C++, and knows enough of
bash, sed, and awk to use them frequently in normal situations". Apart
from that, he does web development, including w3c-compliant HTML and
CSS, JavaScript, popular JS frameworks like jQuery, Prototype and
scriptaculous.

Here is how he further describes himself: "I'm studying Computer
Science, and I expect to get a BS degree in 2010. I'm a scout, and I'm
interested in general sciences, and history. I'm not a fan of any soccer
team, but I like playing soccer with friends and watching the matches
when the Polish representation is playing".

In addition to that he's also interested in security, which is why I'll
lure him into the security team as soon as he's comfortable with being a
Gentoo developer.

Please give him a warm welcome,
Tobias
