The dep issues are almost always bugs, and usually get fixed as such |

(eventually). The blockers tend to be a result of a stage3 that is |

behind on some system package, and those eventually go away as well. |

However, it seems like more often than not simply unpacking a stage3 |

and setting a few USE flags is not sufficient for an emerge kde-meta |

to "just work." |
