I've just compiled the new kernel (gentoo-sources) and I have commed across a |

little issue. When I specify that my procesor is a Amd K7, the vfat module |

compiles good but it wont get loaded. |

Issuing a "insmod vfat", reports something like "sys_ctl_mmx not defined". I'm |

not much of a developer but I'd say that the vfat module needs some pentium |
| 9 |
mmx instructions. |

Once I change the option "Proccesor type" back to Pentium III the problem |

fades away. |
