12 Yes. I mean, most time I do no pinning because Portage does the right thing

15 But if I explicitly pin a package to one version (or >= version), this is done
16 _by intention_ and I do want Portage to respect this. A warning or a needed
17 flag (something like "emerge -u --reallybreakmydependenciesiknowwhatimdoing
18 world", error without this flag) is ok, but a downgrade is IMHO unaccepable
19 in this case.
