whats the policy? when do i use einfo and when elog? |
7 |
|
8 |
the dev handbook states for einfo: |
9 |
|
10 |
Inform the user about something important. The argument given to |
11 |
einfo is the message that the user will see. Do not use einfo to |
12 |
display banners such as "*************************************". The |
13 |
fact that you're using einfo is enough to get the user's attention. |
14 |
|
15 |
and says nothing about elog (AFAICT)... |
16 |
|
17 |
will einfo reporting to the elog framework be turned off in the future? |
18 |
|
19 |
thanks |
20 |
kind regards |
