3 And? What the difference? For the P-t-P connection, there is not
4 difference. There is only one destination, you can send the packets to:
5 the ppp-server on the other side.

7 Only for normal network-connections (eth0, ...), you have to tell the
8 kernel, which host in the subnet he has to send the packets to, because
9 usually there are many of them.
