Thanks to Martin Schlemmer <azarah@g.o>, the new baselayout |
2 |
package[1] finally handles 'before' and 'after' clauses correctly in |
3 |
the init scripts. This may be good news for you alsa users out there, |
4 |
because you can finally use the 'alsasound' init script *and* load |
5 |
sound-related modules in /etc/modules.autoload (such as OSS |
6 |
compatibility stuff). |
7 |
|
8 |
The init script that comes with alsa-driver-0.9.0_rc1-r6 should now |
9 |
handle this correctly. The catch is not to forget that you need to |
10 |
add it to 'boot' runlevel[2]. Another catch is that installing this |
11 |
new version of alsa-driver package is likely to trigger upgrade of |
12 |
your 'baselayout' package, which, in turn, may cause you to have to |
13 |
wade through a zillion of '._cfg????_*' files in /etc. ;^) |
14 |
