Subject: [gentoo-dev] ALSA init script and modules autoloading ickiness -- no more!

Thanks to Martin Schlemmer <azarah@g.o>, the new baselayout
package[1] finally handles 'before' and 'after' clauses correctly in
the init scripts. This may be good news for you alsa users out there,
because you can finally use the 'alsasound' init script *and* load
sound-related modules in /etc/modules.autoload (such as OSS
compatibility stuff).

The init script that comes with alsa-driver-0.9.0_rc1-r6 should now
handle this correctly. The catch is not to forget that you need to
add it to 'boot' runlevel[2]. Another catch is that installing this
new version of alsa-driver package is likely to trigger upgrade of
your 'baselayout' package, which, in turn, may cause you to have to
wade through a zillion of '._cfg????_*' files in /etc. ;^)

Footnotes:
[1] I tested 1.7.9-r1.
[2] And not 'default'.
