11 I just added sci-mathematics/bertini to the tree. I talked to the
12 upstream developers the other day and their main concern is somebody
13 taking the code and making money with it. Another concern is that
14 changed versions of the source code may give incorrect results and ruin
15 their reputation. I personally would say that the GPL would protect
16 them, but in the end it is their choice.

18 They assured me that the relation to distributions is a friendly one and
19 they welcome bug reports and patches upstream.
