I just added sci-mathematics/bertini to the tree. I talked to the |

upstream developers the other day and their main concern is somebody |
13 |
taking the code and making money with it. Another concern is that |

changed versions of the source code may give incorrect results and ruin |
15 |
their reputation. I personally would say that the GPL would protect |
16 |
them, but in the end it is their choice. |

They assured me that the relation to distributions is a friendly one and |

they welcome bug reports and patches upstream. |
