10 A: Yes, you can safely delete these files. But if you are on a slow
11 connection, such as a modem, you might want to keep the archives if
12 possible; often several ebuilds will be released for the same version of
13 a specific piece of software - if you have deleted the archive and you
14 upgrade the software it will have to be downloaded from the internet
15 again.
