1 Yes, I was indeed trying to build 2.4.19r5. Got hopeful and disabled acpi
2 but sadly experienced no improvement. Keyboard still dead.

4 I've now reverted back to 2.4.18 vanilla and everything is fine (except acpi
5 doesn't work, no low-latency patch etc)...
