I wrote an application that I would like to handle all .myextensions |

when accessed from a browser (similar to the handling of .swf and .zip). |

I have the proper .desktop entry in /usr/share/applications, and an |

entry in /usr/share/applications/mimeinfo.cache, so what else do I need |

to do to specify .myextensions as the new mime type? This is going to be |
| 6 |
distributed (however, it's gentoo specific), so the more global the |
| 7 |
option, the better. |
