The name "get_dep_info" is not the problem, but "depinfo_net.eth0". It contains invalid character "dot". $ declare -F "depinfo_eth.net0" -bash: declare: `depinfo_eth.net0': not a valid identifier Thanks, -- gentoo-dev@g.o mailing list
