I've p.masked media-sound/daapd and it's pending removal in a week from now if |
2 |
nobody says anything. |
3 |
|
4 |
The reason of this is that it seems to cause crashes in iTunes 6 clients (see |
5 |
bug #109490), and it's dead upstream. Instead of this, you can use mt-daapd |
6 |
that is actively maintained by upstream, and seems to work just fine with new |
7 |
version of iTunes clients. |
8 |
|
9 |
Note: the big drawback of mt-daapd not being able to cross different |
10 |
filesystem bounds can be worked around using more than one mt-daapd service. |
11 |
Next version (0.3.0) will anyway fix that definitively. |
