Hi Donny and other Gentoo Hackers,
I emerged cups-1.1.10-r6.ebuild today. The only teeny-tiny minor snag is
that start-stop-daemon gets confused a little bit and refuses to cooperate
with me until I kill the original daemon by hand and restart it by hand.
Then I can /etc/init.d/cupsd stop, and start it as usual.
I also did
ebuild /var/db/pkg/net-print/cups-1.1.9/cups-1.1.9.ebuild unmerge
and watched the safe unmerging in all its glory ;). Neat.
So far the new cups is working very well; thanks Donny! If I encounter any
problems with it, I will follow up.
