I emerged cups-1.1.10-r6.ebuild today. The only teeny-tiny minor snag is |

that start-stop-daemon gets confused a little bit and refuses to cooperate |

with me until I kill the original daemon by hand and restart it by hand. |

Then I can /etc/init.d/cupsd stop, and start it as usual. |

I also did |

ebuild /var/db/pkg/net-print/cups-1.1.9/cups-1.1.9.ebuild unmerge |

and watched the safe unmerging in all its glory ;). Neat. |

So far the new cups is working very well; thanks Donny! If I encounter any |

problems with it, I will follow up. |
