I'm installing from the i686 full install iso I obtained from the France |

mirror. Once reaching the point of installing the packages, I discovered |

that my cd was bad. I'm currently obtaining the iso again to burn a new cd, |

but I had one question. Using the packaging system installed, is it feasable |
| 5 |
to emerge all packages in the ..../All directory on the cd? I'm not an |
| 6 |
advanced user, and so I'm having difficulty determining which packages are |
| 7 |
neccessary. If it is not going to be a good idea to install all the |
| 8 |
packages, then I may just go through them one-by one and attemp to make a |
| 9 |
best-guess. |

I am rather excited, by the way, about installing this distribution. After |
| 12 |
using other more popular ones for several months, I was dismayed at the |
| 13 |
number of bugs that are rampant. I know that as long as new features are |
| 14 |
added, bugs will keep appearing, but I'm hoping to bring that to a minimum. |
