10 I'm also still not convinced that this is really against the FHS. I think this
11 could be a border case that just falls in or out the FHS. The FHS forbids
12 direct children directories of /usr, but /usr/kde/3.3 is not a direct child.
13 Maybe it is not in the exact spirit of FHS, but as far as I know the FHS
14 people have also not offered any sensible solution for kde, qt etc. yet. They
15 also DO NOT belong in /opt, as they are not standalone packages (let alone
16 binary which is the gentoo requirement (sort of))
