Hi,

I created a set of experimental stages for x86 today. These stages
are considered as the first set of test-stages for 2004.3.

The stages are build using a cascaded profile, i.e.
"default-linux/x86/2004.2". The current stable release of portage
doesn't handle cascaded profiles properly, so if you want to test
the stages, make sure to set the appropriate keywords in
/etc/portage/package.keywords so that portage-2.0.51_rc1 gets installed
on bootstrap/emerge system.

The stages will hit the mirrors soon (in the next few hours). They will
be in experimental/x86/stages/x86/, their datestamp is 20040920.

Comments and bug-reports should go to a special-purpose bug I just
created: bug 64757

Regards,
Benni
