hi achim, |

11 |
|
12 |
an eclass for this thing would be great. afaik the tarballs are all compiling |
13 |
the same way. i have looked at the other eclasses and there is allready an |
14 |
gcc.eclass, so we need to think about a name and some other things. |
15 |
|
16 |
in my opinion, the standard gcc ebuilds should be there for bootstrapping. is |
17 |
it possible to use the intel c++ compiler icc for bootstrapping? |
18 |
|
19 |
if this is possible then we could decide to use the gcc compiler without |
20 |
java,f77 etc... during the bootstrap process. |
21 |
|
22 |
i've looked for you on irc but you didn't were there. |
23 |
|
24 |
i'm really interested in doing some work on this... i'm not a very good |
25 |
developer but i'm understanding the eclasses and ebuild script without big |
26 |
problems. the only thing is that i'm not working on things like this every |
27 |
day. |
28 |
|
29 |
i've seen that you have retired from the gentoo dev team... is it true??? |
30 |
|
31 |
kind regards |
32 |
johannes ... ;-) |
