I did an emerge this morning (Saturday, August 3, 2002) and discovered that |

kde 3.1 alpha has been unmasked (or was committed and never masked). In any |

event, I almost upgraded from a stable KDE to a pre-release alpha vesion by |

mistake, and had to hand patch the package.mask file to prevent it. |

kde 3.1 alpha probably should not be unmasked, and the default install should |

remain the stable 3.0.2. Is there some reason this wasn't done, or was it |

just a mistake? |
