Ok, I wasn't sure I would want to bring this up right now, since there is |
9 |
quite a bit of "step1" work to be done first, but since this has been |
10 |
mentioned.. |

If anybody is seriously interested, please talke a look at #1523, however bear |
13 |
in mind a following warning: the end implementation is going to be quite |
14 |
different, as many things have changed since. |
15 |
One of the first things to nitice in that bug would be a date when it was |
16 |
created ;), so you can see that this is not entirely new issue. I just want |
17 |
to remind everybody, that any such change implemented centrally takes quite a |
18 |
bit of infrastructure redesign and correspondingly time to implement. |
19 |
Especially if we want to keep the ball rolling in the mean time and not face |
20 |
any disaster :). |
21 |
However we already have major parts under way, namely KEYWORDS (AKA Stability |
22 |
Levels in that text) and gentoo-stats/stable (this is the voting part of that |
23 |
write-up), albeit work on them (especially the stable/stats part) is not |
24 |
quite finalized. |
25 |
|
26 |
Most likely I will be putting up an update soon after we finish some |
27 |
reorganization underway (recently mentioned elsewhere). Nonetheless, any |
28 |
constructive comments are definitely (as usual) wellcome! |
